Yoga for Hyperlordosis is aimed at restoring the spine to its natural physiological state through regular practice of specific exercises.
Lumbar hyperlordosis is an excessive inward curve of the spine, leading to improper distribution of weight and center of gravity, which causes premature wear and tear of cartilage, joints, and ligaments. Over time, this can result in lower back pain.
However, with the right exercises, it's possible to restore the natural curve of the spine and eliminate hyperlordosis.
The focus should primarily be on strengthening the abdominal muscles, followed by stretching the iliopsoas muscles, and finally, strengthening the gluteal muscles. These muscle groups are actively worked on in this series of lessons.
Regular practice will help restore the spine to a healthy state and improve posture.
