Yoga for the chest and posture includes arm movements, stretches and backbends to work on upper-back mobility. The sequence also includes exercises for other parts of the body.
In this 15-minute class, you'll try “Half Lotus Tree Pose”, “Standing One-Legged Frog Pose with Backbend” and “Standing Backbend”. In Tree Pose, you'll practice balancing on one leg. The class ends with time to rest lying down.
In backbends, keep your head in a comfortable position and go only as far as you can without straining your lower back. Move your arms smoothly, without unnecessary shoulder tension.
