Yoga for inner harmony combines steady poses with attention to breathing. Movement and a calm awareness of sensations can help you step away from the rush of everyday life.
In this 25-minute class, you'll try “Standing Forward Bend”, “Cat Pose” and “Bridge Pose with Hands Clasped”. In Cat Pose, pay attention to your stability and the position of your back. Towards the end of the class, you'll practice the breathing technique “Alternate Nostril Breathing Pranayama”. You'll finish with a rest lying down.
If your attention wanders, gently bring it back to your breathing and the points where your body meets the floor or other support. Stay in a comfortable position and don't try to force your thoughts to stop.
