Yoga for inner harmony combines steady poses with attention to breathing. Movement and a calm awareness of sensations can help you step away from the rush of everyday life.
This 45-minute class features “Wide-Legged Forward Bend”, “Standing Split Pose” and “Seated Forward Bend with Hands Clasped behind the Back”. Towards the end of the class, you'll practice the breathing technique “Alternate Nostril Breathing Pranayama”. You'll finish with a rest lying down.
Set aside other tasks for the duration of the class and try to focus on movement and breathing.
If your attention wanders, gently bring it back to your breathing and the points where your body meets the floor or other support. Stay in a comfortable position and don't try to force your thoughts to stop.
