Yoga for better balance combines exercises for balance, strength, and mobility. Balancing poses let you work on coordination and controlled movement as you notice how your body stays steady.
In this 10-minute class, you'll try “Standing One-Legged Frog Pose with Backbend”, “Tree Pose” and “Standing One-Legged Half Moon Pose”. In Tree Pose, you'll practice balancing on one leg. The class ends with time to rest lying down.
Use a wall or another stable support if needed. Do not hold your breath, and come out of balancing poses gently, especially when tired.
