Yoga for better balance combines exercises for balance, strength, and mobility. Balancing poses let you work on coordination and controlled movement as you notice how your body stays steady.
In this 45-minute class, you'll try “One-Legged Chair Pose 2”, “Half Lotus Tree Pose” and “Balancing Angle Pose with Legs Apart”. In Tree Pose, you'll practice balancing on one leg. The class ends with time to rest lying down.
Try this class when you'd like to focus on technique and get to know familiar movements better.
Use a wall or another stable support if needed. Do not hold your breath, and come out of balancing poses gently, especially when tired.
