Yoga for the prostate includes exercises for the muscles of your legs, pelvis and lower back. Standing poses and stability exercises are combined with stretches to loosen up your lower body after everyday activity.
The exercises in this 15-minute class include “Standing One-Legged Pose with Knee to Chest”, “Simple Tree Pose” and “Low Lunge with Hands on Thigh”. In Tree Pose, you'll practice balancing on one leg. The class ends with time to rest lying down.
Keep your pelvis in a comfortable position and breathe freely. If you have urinary or other urological symptoms, discuss them with your doctor before starting the classes.
