Yoga for the prostate includes exercises for the muscles of your legs, pelvis and lower back. Standing poses and stability exercises are combined with stretches to loosen up your lower body after everyday activity.
The exercises in this 60-minute class include “Extended Hand-to-Big-Toe Pose with a Strap and the Leg to the Side”, “Half Lotus Tree Pose” and “Dynamic Reclining Straight-Leg Lifts”. In Tree Pose, you'll practice balancing on one leg. The class ends with time to rest lying down.
Choose the hour-long class if you'd like to focus on mobility and how your body feels today.
Keep your pelvis in a comfortable position and breathe freely. If you have urinary or other urological symptoms, discuss them with your doctor before starting the classes.
