Yoga for the prostate includes exercises for the muscles of your legs, pelvis and lower back. Standing poses and stability exercises are combined with stretches to loosen up your lower body after everyday activity.
In this 90-minute class, you'll practice “Warrior 3 Pose”, “Extended Hand-to-Big-Toe Pose with the Leg to the Side” and “One-Legged Chair Pose 2”. In Warrior III, you'll balance on one leg and pay attention to the position of your pelvis. The class ends with time to rest lying down.
On a free day, you can try a longer class if you're already used to 90 minutes of practice.
Keep your pelvis in a comfortable position and breathe freely. If you have urinary or other urological symptoms, discuss them with your doctor before starting the classes.
