Yoga for the prostate includes exercises for the muscles of your legs, pelvis and lower back. Standing poses and stability exercises are combined with stretches to loosen up your lower body after everyday activity.
In this 30-minute class, you'll try “Supported Warrior 3 Pose”, “Standing Hand-to-Big-Toe Pose with a Strap and the Leg Forward”, and “Half Side Splits Pose”. In Warrior III, you'll balance on one leg and pay attention to your hip alignment. You'll lie down to rest at the end of the class.
Keep your pelvis in a comfortable position and breathe freely. If you have urinary or other urological symptoms, discuss them with your doctor before starting the classes.
