Tibetan exercises combine movement with static poses. This yoga practice is a chance to loosen up, take a break from your usual activities and focus on your body and breathing.
In this 20-minute class, you'll try “Equestrian Pose with Shoulder Stretch”, “Downward-Facing Cat Pose” and “Seated Forward Bend”. In the seated forward bend, you'll feel a stretch along the backs of your legs. Fold forward smoothly, without jerking. You'll finish by lying down to rest.
Move smoothly within a comfortable range of motion. If the class includes breath holds, avoid straining. If you have health conditions that limit your activity, discuss the breathing techniques with your doctor.
