Tibetan exercises combine movement with static poses. This yoga practice is a chance to loosen up, take a break from your usual activities and focus on your body and breathing.
In this 45-minute class, you'll practice “Bear Grip”, “Seated Forward Bend with Hands Clasped behind the Back” and “Reclining Angle Pose with Legs Apart and Arms Forward”. The class ends with time to rest lying down.
During the class, try to focus on simple things: your movements, how your body is grounded, and your breathing.
Move smoothly within a comfortable range of motion. If the class includes breath holds, avoid straining. If you have health conditions that limit your activity, discuss the breathing techniques with your doctor.
