Tibetan exercises combine movement with static poses. This yoga practice is a chance to loosen up, take a break from your usual activities and focus on your body and breathing.
In this 90-minute class, you'll try “Standing Forward Bend with Hand Clasp”, “Seated Half Lotus Forward Bend” and “Balancing Angle Pose with Bent Knees”. Toward the end, you'll practice the breathing exercise “Pranayama in Cat Pose”. You'll finish by lying down to rest.
If you'd like a longer practice today, try the 90-minute class at an intensity you can manage.
Move smoothly within a comfortable range of motion. If the class includes breath holds, avoid straining. If you have health conditions that limit your activity, discuss the breathing techniques with your doctor.
