Yoga for the knees includes exercises for your thigh and lower leg muscles, with attention to foot position. You'll explore leg movements and notice how your lower body stays stable.
In this 15-minute class, you'll try “Standing Frog Pose with One-Hand Foot Grip”, “Chair Pose” and “Diamond Pose on Tiptoes”. In Chair Pose, you'll feel your leg muscles working. Pay attention to your balance and the position of your torso. You'll finish with a rest lying down.
Make squats and lunges shallower if you find it hard to keep your legs aligned, and do not continue through knee pain. If you have an injury or a joint condition, discuss the exercises with a specialist.
