Yoga for the knees includes exercises for your thigh and lower leg muscles, with attention to foot position. You'll explore leg movements and notice how your lower body stays stable.
In this 60-minute class, you'll try “Standing One-Legged Kriya with Knee to Chest”, “Deep Low Lunge” and “Squat Kriya with Leg Extended to the Side”. You'll finish with a rest lying down.
Choose the hour-long class if you'd like to focus on mobility and how your body feels today.
Make squats and lunges shallower if you find it hard to keep your legs aligned, and do not continue through knee pain. If you have an injury or a joint condition, discuss the exercises with a specialist.
