Yoga for the knees includes exercises for your thigh and lower leg muscles, with attention to foot position. You'll explore leg movements and notice how your lower body stays stable.
Your 25-minute class includes “Standing Forward Bend with Bent Knees”, “Chair Pose”, and “Seated Leg Shaking”. In Chair Pose, you'll feel your leg muscles working. Pay attention to your balance and torso alignment. You'll lie down to rest at the end of the class.
Make squats and lunges shallower if you find it hard to keep your legs aligned, and do not continue through knee pain. If you have an injury or a joint condition, discuss the exercises with a specialist.
