Postnatal yoga helps you gradually return to movement, taking your recovery and how you feel into account. Exercises for your core, back and legs are combined with rest.
Your 30-minute class includes “Dynamic Alternating Standing Twist”, “Supported Warrior 3 Pose”, and “Standing One-Legged Half Moon Pose”. In Warrior III, you'll balance on one leg and pay attention to your hip alignment. You'll lie down to rest at the end of the class.
Discuss when to start exercising and how much to do with your doctor. If you have diastasis recti, pain, or pelvic floor issues, choose exercises to suit your individual needs and avoid movements that cause discomfort.
