The Sugar-Free yoga routine offers a chance to pause and focus on how your body feels. Strengthening exercises and mobility work are combined with rest and attention to yourself.
Exercises in this 45-minute class include “Equestrian Pose”, “Warrior 2 Pose” and “Squat Kriya with Leg Extended to the Side”. In Warrior poses, you'll engage your leg muscles and work on core stability. Towards the end of the class, you'll practice the breathing technique “Alternate Nostril Breathing Pranayama”. You'll finish with a rest lying down.
During the class, try to focus on simple things: your movements, how your body is grounded, and your breathing.
Choose a manageable level of effort. New eating habits grow out of small everyday choices.
