Yoga for the feet and ankles combines foot movements and lower leg muscle work with exercises for the legs and pelvis. Stretches and stability exercises help you focus on how you support your weight through your feet.
In this 45-minute class, you'll practice “Three-Legged Downward-Facing Dog”, “Reclining Spinal and Leg Twist Pose” and “Half Reclining Leg Stretch Pose”. The class ends with time to rest lying down.
Try this class when you'd like to focus on mobility and notice how your body moves.
Pay attention to how your foot supports you, do not continue movements through pain, and use support in balancing poses if needed. After an ankle injury, discuss the programme with a specialist.
