Yoga for the feet and ankles combines foot movements and lower leg muscle work with exercises for the legs and pelvis. Stretches and stability exercises help you focus on how you support your weight through your feet.
In this hour-long class, you'll try “Squat Kriya with Leg Extended to the Side”, “Half Lotus Tree Pose” and “Standing Split Pose”. In Tree Pose, you'll practice balancing on one leg. You'll finish by lying down to rest.
Choose the hour-long class if you'd like to focus on mobility and how your body feels today.
Pay attention to how your foot supports you, do not continue movements through pain, and use support in balancing poses if needed. After an ankle injury, discuss the programme with a specialist.
