Yoga for the feet and ankles combines foot movements and lower leg muscle work with exercises for the legs and pelvis. Stretches and stability exercises help you focus on how you support your weight through your feet.
In this 90-minute class, you'll try “One-Legged Chair Pose 2”, “Reclining Spinal and Leg Twist Pose” and “Reclining Leg Stretch”. You'll finish with a rest lying down.
On a free day, you can try a longer class if you're already used to 90 minutes of practice.
Pay attention to how your foot supports you, do not continue movements through pain, and use support in balancing poses if needed. After an ankle injury, discuss the programme with a specialist.
