Yoga after running combines leg movements and stretches with rest after your run. Hip mobility is important for moving your legs freely forward and back with each stride. Adjust your lunges, forward bends and stretches to how tired you feel after running.
In this 60-minute class, you'll try “Wide-Legged Side Bend”, “Revolved Head-to-Knee Pose” and “Reclining Hero Pose with One Leg Extended”. You'll finish with a rest lying down.
After a journey, a workout or a busy day, you can set aside this hour for yourself.
Choose the depth of your stretches and the class length based on the distance you've run and how you feel afterward. Don't stretch tired muscles through pain.
