Yoga for the shoulders and shoulder blades combines arm movements, stretches and strengthening poses. You'll focus on your shoulders and upper back, paying attention to posture, mobility and how you distribute your weight.
This 60-minute class includes “Dynamic Standing Arm Strengthening”, “Equestrian Pose with Shoulder Stretch” and “Twisted Arm Stretch Lying on the Stomach”. You'll finish by lying down to rest.
Choose the hour-long class if you'd like to focus on mobility and how your body feels today.
Do not force your shoulders up toward your ears or push through joint pain to increase your range of motion. In weight-bearing poses and backbends, choose a variation that lets you stay steady.
