Yoga for the lower back combines strengthening exercises with stretches and movements of the pelvis and legs. You'll focus on the muscles involved in lower back movement.
Your 45-minute class includes “Wide-Legged Side Bend”, “Dynamic Bridge”, and “Reclining Alternating Diagonal Body Stretch”. In the Bridge movement, you'll gently raise and lower your hips. You'll lie down to rest at the end of the class.
Try this class when you'd like to focus on mobility and notice how your body moves.
Postpone the class if you have acute pain. If you have a spinal condition, a herniated disc or a disc protrusion, check the exercises with a qualified healthcare professional. During practice, stay within a pain-free range of motion.
