Yoga for the lower back combines strengthening exercises with stretches and movements of the pelvis and legs. You'll focus on the muscles involved in lower back movement.
In this 60-minute class, you'll practice “Tree Pose with Side Stretch”, “Bridge Pose” and “Reclining Leg Stretch”. In Tree Pose, you'll practice balancing on one leg. You'll finish with a rest lying down.
Choose the hour-long class if you'd like to focus on mobility and how your body feels today.
Postpone the class if you have acute pain. If you have a spinal condition, a herniated disc or a disc protrusion, check the exercises with a qualified healthcare professional. During practice, stay within a pain-free range of motion.
