Yoga for flexibility uses a variety of positions to stretch your muscles and work on joint mobility. You'll stretch your legs, back and shoulders, and loosen up your torso.
In this 90-minute class, you'll try “One-Legged King Pigeon Pose 1”, “Reclining Angle Pose with Legs Apart and Arms Forward” and “Reclining Butterfly Pose”. Butterfly Pose focuses on hip mobility. Find a comfortable position for your pelvis. You'll finish with a rest lying down.
On a free day, you can choose the 90-minute class to focus on flexibility, if you're used to practicing for that long.
When stretching, stop at a moderate stretch without pain. Only deepen the pose while you can breathe freely and remain stable.
