Yoga for the hands and wrists combines a warm-up for the arms and shoulders with mobility exercises. In poses where you bear weight on your hands, you'll pay attention to how that weight is distributed.
This 60-minute class includes “Four-Limbed Staff Pose on Elbows”, “Kriya: Plank – Upward-Facing Dog” and “Revolved One-Armed Makara Pose”. The class ends with time to rest lying down.
Choose the hour-long class if you'd like to focus on mobility and how your body feels today.
Don't put weight on a painful wrist; adapt the exercise if needed. If you have an injury or recurring discomfort, discuss the intensity with a healthcare professional.
