Yoga for the hands and wrists combines a warm-up for the arms and shoulders with mobility exercises. In poses where you bear weight on your hands, you'll pay attention to how that weight is distributed.
This 90-minute class includes “Plank Pose”, “Four-Limbed Staff Pose” and “Dynamic Plank on One Arm and One Leg”. Plank engages your arms and core. You'll finish by lying down to rest.
On a free day, you can try a longer class if you're already used to 90 minutes of practice.
Don't put weight on a painful wrist; adapt the exercise if needed. If you have an injury or recurring discomfort, discuss the intensity with a healthcare professional.
