Yoga after work offers a chance to loosen up and change position. Warm-up movements, strengthening exercises and stretches engage your back, shoulders, legs and core.
Your 60-minute class includes “Pelvic Floor Strengthening and Stretching”, “Downward-Facing Cat Pose”, and “Dynamic Twist in Seated Forward Bend”. During the pelvic floor exercises, notice how your muscles tighten and relax. Near the end, you'll practice the breathing exercise “Alternate Nostril Breathing Pranayama”. You'll lie down to rest at the end of the class.
Close your work chats and spend this hour on the mat.
Start with manageable effort, especially after sitting or standing for a long time. Choose the class length to suit how you feel.
