Yoga after work offers a chance to loosen up and change position. Warm-up movements, strengthening exercises and stretches engage your back, shoulders, legs and core.
In this 90-minute class, you'll practice “Dynamic One-Armed Plank”, “Cat Pose” and “Seated One-Leg Stretch Pose with a Strap”. In Cat Pose, keep yourself steady and pay attention to the position of your back. Toward the end, you'll practice the breathing exercise “Alternate Nostril Breathing Pranayama”. You'll finish by lying down to rest.
If your workday is over and you have a free evening, you can choose the 90-minute class.
Start with manageable effort, especially after sitting or standing for a long time. Choose the class length to suit how you feel.
