Yoga for stretching combines stretches for different parts of the body with work on joint mobility. Find a comfortable range of motion that lets you stay in control.
In this hour-and-a-half class, you'll try “Revolved Head-to-Knee Pose”, “Balancing Angle Pose with Legs Apart” and “Seated Half Lotus Forward Bend”. You'll finish with a rest lying down.
On a free day, you can try a longer class if you're already used to 90 minutes of practice.
Pay attention to how you feel today. A moderate stretching sensation is fine; pain means you need to reduce your range of motion. Don't hold your breath.
