Technique of execution

Bend your right leg and press the sole of your foot to the inside of your left thigh, near the groin. Try to place the outside of your right thigh and shin on the floor. Straighten your left leg. Point your left toes back towards yourself. Stretch your arms towards your left foot. Bring your head down so that your chin rests in the dimple of your collarbone. Straighten your back. Breathe evenly. Reach your belly towards your left leg. Focus on your breath. Then lift your head. Straighten your right leg. Return to staff pose. Repeat on the other side. Bend your left leg and press the sole of your foot to the inside of your right thigh, near the groin. Try to place them outside of your left thigh and shin on the floor. Straighten your right leg. Point your right toes back towards yourself. Stretch your arms towards your right foot. Bring your head down so that your chin rests in the dimple of your collarbone. Straighten your back. Breathe evenly. Reach your belly towards your right leg. Focus on your breath. Then lift your head. Straighten your left leg. Return to staff pose.
