Yoga for ADHD combines movement and steady poses, giving you a specific task to focus on. You'll pay attention to your body position, muscle activity and breathing as you make physical activity part of your routine.
This 90-minute class includes “Tree Pose with Side Stretch”, “Open Warrior Pose” and “Half Boat Pose”. In Tree Pose, you'll practice balancing on one leg. Toward the end, you'll practice the breathing exercise “Alternate Nostril Breathing Pranayama”. You'll finish by lying down to rest.
If you'd like a longer practice today, try the 90-minute class at an intensity you can manage.
Choose a short class and take breaks if needed. Discuss ADHD diagnosis and support with a qualified professional.
