The lesson series "Yoga for Football Players" was created to relieve tension and muscle blocks in the legs and back of those who play football.
The routines include exercises to improve flexibility in the front of the thighs (quadriceps), stretches for the back of the thighs (hamstrings), and stretches for the calf muscles.
Several exercises are designed to loosen up the leg joints and the lumbar region of the back.
To relax the lower back area and stretch the back muscles, twisting exercises performed sitting and lying down, bends, and inverted poses are used.
The inverted poses included in the lessons are also important for promoting temporary blood drainage from the legs, allowing the blood vessels to rest.
