Hormonal yoga combines movements and strengthening poses that engage the whole body. You'll work on strength, stability and mobility, paying attention to how you perform each exercise.
In this 90-minute class, you'll try “Squat Kriya with Leg Extended to the Side”, “Warrior 2 Pose”, and “Dynamic Alternating Standing Twist”. Warrior poses let you work on leg strength and core stability. Near the end, you'll practice the breathing exercise “Alternate Nostril Breathing Pranayama”. You'll lie down to rest at the end of the class.
Choose the 90-minute class if you're used to longer sessions and have the energy for one today.
Increase the effort gradually, keeping your breathing steady and your body stable. If you get tired, switch to an easier version of the exercise.
