What to do if it does not work out, as in the video

If you are unable to place your leg in half-lotus without strain, try practicing Tree Pose, along with other poses that will gradually build flexibility in the legs and hips, such as Butterfly Pose and Head-to-Knee Pose.

If you are having a hard time balancing on one foot, stand next to a wall, and place one hand on the wall for support. As you continue to practice this pose, try and gradually move away from the wall as you feel comfortable.

If you are feeling unstable in your balance, focus your gaze on any point in front of you (it can be on the floor). Keep your chin parallel to the ground, while maintaining a steady focus.
